Hand-drawn digitally by Shana Munson a.k.a. Ametaphor on iPhone, this supporter avatar art series started in 2022 as a perk of purchasing or being gifted an NFT from her E.T. Pop Genesis NFT collection as tickets to custom colorful pixel extraterrestrial portraits representing support for the pursuit of this women’s & non-binary production community project. The crowdfunding that this portrait series achieved raised over $2,000 for her journey towards safety after escaping domestic violence and living in a van from South Carolina to New York and then down to Lynchburg, Virginia where she is currently based, and the each portrait took about 3-4 hours to draw, taking a total of about 8 months to fully complete the first 25 portraits while also strategizing beginning a new life from scratch with a hopeful heart.
